VIDEO POLICY

Video recordings are chosen for interest to all people in the community for information and recreation. Selection of a work does not constitute or imply agreement with or approval of the content of the material.

The library seeks to be a source of quality materials. Favorable reviews, patron requests, circulation statistics and local availability are all selection considerations. Additionally, patrons may borrow items not held at Fuller Public Library, from other libraries via interlibrary loan.

As with all library materials, the responsibility for videos used by children is the responsibility of their parent or guardian. Selection of materials will not be inhibited by the possibility that they may come into the possession of children. Ratings will not be added to or removed from the manufacturer’s packaging. Children 16 years and younger may not borrow videos unless they are with a parent/guardian or their parent/guardian has given Fuller Public Library staff permission to lend videos and we have it noted in our computer.

The library’s videos are purchased with funds from the library’s materials budget. Donated videos will be subject to the same selection criteria as videos purchased with library funds.

There is a limit of 10 videos checked out at a time on one patron’s account.

Fuller Public Library is not responsible for damage to video playing equipment.
