Launchpad Circulation Policy

  • Borrower must be 18 years or older, have a Fuller Public Library account in good standing (no active fines, damaged or missing items), and have an account open for at least 1 month.
    • The Fuller Public Library reserves the right to deny checkout based on past issues.
  • Limit 1 Launchpad per family.
  • Launchpad must be returned inside, do not place in the book drop.
  • 2 week circulation with no renewals. Overdue fee of $1/day.
  • Launchpads can be reserved, will be held for no more than 2 days, and must be picked up inside.
  • Earbuds can be purchased for $1.25 a pair, or you can use a pair of your own.
  • Please DO NOT attempt to clean the device.
  • Replacement fees:
    • Circulation case = $13
    • Case = $9
    • Charging cord = $7
    • AC power adapter/plug = $10
    • Lost or permanently damaged device = patron pays $110-$160 depending on the device
    • Cracked screen or other repairable damage = patron pays (may vary)
  • Staff will inspect for damage upon check in. Clean the device with approved cleaning product and wipe dry. Reset device to defaults. Plug in and charge in-house. Return to shelf once fully charged.
    • Approved cleaning products:
      • Mild soap and water
      • Diluted bleach solution (1:8 ratio)
      • Alcohol based wipes
