  • Henry_Dearborn_From_Captain_to_Cabinet_Secretary_George_MorrisonHenry Dearborn: From Captain to Cabinet Secretary Thursday, July 23 at 6:00pm Presenter: George Morrison In this presentation, George Morrison explores the life and career of Henry Dearborn, born in North Hampton, New Hampshire in 1751. He began his career as a young doctor before joining the the Continental Army, where he served for over eight years. Post-war he served two terms in Congress, later as a cabinet secretary, and was, before retiring in 1824, President Monroe’s Minister to Portugal.
